Insiders know destruction by fire was a big deal back then so thank goodness the architect had designed fire proof wrought iron beams inside the new wooden floors and brick arches to prevent total destruction!  By utilizing cutting-edge technology, John Notman began the now routine use of the i Beam!    Below are some artifacts recovered from the fire:
