Princeton Indoor Winter Walking Tour

This tour is designed to accommodate New Jersey’s unpredictable winter weather. Unlike our usual 5 Star Walking Tours, we spend over half of the tour indoors! Discover the fascinating lives of famous Princetonians, from visionary Founding Fathers to modern icons. All while taking in Princeton’s timeless beauty.

We begin inside the home to the largest Norman Rockwell painting and the most wiretapped room of World War II—before heading onto campus to uncover the stories behind Princeton University. Warm up inside a few landmarks including the Princeton University Art Museum, which houses the most valuable academic art collection in the world. (Our time inside the museum will be excerpts from their self guided tour. We beg you to plan time after the tour to return and see the entire collection.)

Next, we’ll venture into town and visit F. Scott Fitzgerald’s old speakeasy, where your guide brings history to life with iPad visuals featuring Fitzgerald, Hobey Baker, Woodrow Wilson, Albert Einstein, and Paul Robeson. You’ll learn how Princeton evolved from a sleepy college town to a magnet for America’s elite—think Rockefeller, Carnegie, Firestone, Johnson, Oppenheimer, and more!

We’ll finish with a quick stroll back downtown, ending in a stunning lobby that looks like it was created in a TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest lab!
